CONFERENCES
There are an excellent selection of regular annual travel health conferences you can attend, often virtually or in-person (and sometimes with free food, or at least a free pen!!). There are also lots of other events that pop up throughout the year too. I try to go to THEM ALL, I LOVE THEM!!!
Save the date for the RCPSG conferences. The next one is on 9th October 2025 in Glasgow (and virtual if you prefer) and it's always AWESOME!!!!! See details HERE.
The fabulous BGTHA conference is usually around November time (virtual) - always a great event. And usually a half day over the weekend - handy if you are pushed for time (or money) but still want something awesome to attend. It's very reasonably priced. Non-members cost is ÂŁ35 and includes one-year BGTHA membership. With that, you would also get access to the journal, Travelwise. This year it is scheduled for the 8th Nov 2025- save the date! Register your place at BGTHA's 24th Virtual Annual Conference here. Also check out the educational webinars they have been putting on and intend to continue to do so. You might recognise a familiar face on the first one!
Look out for the Joint RCN and NaTHNaC conferences each year. They are VERY good! The last one was in March 2025 and is available to watch if you purchase it.
Valneva travel health events (usually FREE events. On occasion some free wine has been involved too. Register your interest to receive email updates on scheduled events)
NECTM and ISTM conferences are always amazing but only for the truly dedicated as they are often abroad and over four days!
September and October 2025: Why not register for one of the PCN imms roadshow conferences?
*Alys's conference TOP TIP!* If you can't attend on the day don't rule it out immediately. I've found that a lot of conferences these days tend to be recorded, especially if virtual (although not all of course). So, it's still worth signing up and watching on demand if you can't make it.
*Always just check first that this IS INDEED an option before booking!
